American Academy of Clinical Psychology

LifeCare Psychology Group, LLC is the oldest private mental health practice in SC and we are seeking a psychologist of exceptional skill and professionalism.   The practice is operated from a team perspective and we are one of the few psychology groups to be bestowed the APA’s Psychological Healthy Workplace award.  All clinicians and staff are Believers, and you will be joining a family.   

We serve a broad range of patients of all ages, treating affective disorders, personality disorders, marriages and psychological consequences of chronic medical illness.  We are open to you developing your own specialization.  Dr. Seth Rainwater is the managing partner and Dr. Avie Rainwater is the founding partner.  The balance of the clinical team is composed of four counselors who have been with LifeCare from 6-15 years.  The current position is opening because one of our counselors is moving.  We operate from 8AM to 7PM Monday through Thursday, and we enjoy a three-day weekend every weekend.   We have an excellent support staff who handle all of the day-to-day business issues (with a 95% collection rate) with all notes and reports being done through an EHR. 

Remuneration will begin on a salary basis and then shift to 50/50 percent of collections arrangement.  As such, your income will be both highly competitive and very much under your control.  We receive over 500+ referrals annually, so we anticipate your calendar will be full within 3-4 months.
